Scooter events and competitions are not only a great day out, they're also incredible for showing off your tricks and lines to brands that often show up to spot for talent!
We hold a host of our own events and we're always there spotting for new up and coming riders!
Highlight events:
ScootGB:
ScootGB is the governing body for scootering in the UK. This is where riders battle it out to climb the national ranking table and fight for spots on 'TEAM GB' to represent the country in world stages!
This doesn't have to be an intimidating competition though. Categories go all the way from Beginner and Novice under 8 / under 12, all the way up to PRO.
The CORE Open:
The CORE Open is one of the biggest events in the UK. With massive prize money to be won!
The BIG DOGG TOUR 2025:
We're going on tour!! An old school UK tour with a van full of our riders visiting all over the country. We're likely coming to a park near you so keep out on socials for updates!
How do you keep track of what's going on?
We've got you covered for this too! Check out our Events Page for a run down of events happening all over the UK as well as some world stage events.
Competition Advice:
The main objective for people hosting events is to create a great day for riders and spectators, whether that is through competing, scoring points to go towards their national ranking or simply watching the PRO riders battle it out to take some prize money.
- Always remember: It's supposed to be fun! Don't feel like you have to compete, but if you do, you don't have to take it too seriously.
- Stay protected - wearing a helmet at pads are super important, especially when you're mid run. Falling off during your time on the park can be painful and its best to try and minimise this as much as possible so you can get up and keep going.
- Check out the judging criteria. It's not a secret that the judges take a certain set of guidelines into consideration. The main ones to think about are the following: trick difficulty, consistency, variation, style and park use. Nail a few of those and you'll be scoring higher in no time!
- Make sure your scooter is serviced or maintained! You don't want to be hitting the park with dodgy bearings, cracked deck or worn parts. Freshen it up with some new parts and make sure it's all tight!
As always, we're here to help. If you need any more advice, get in contact with us! We've held events and competitions for years and years, so we know all the usual questions and concerns. Most importantly, we hope to see you there!
