Remove old griptape and clean the deck surface. You can then pre-cut the griptape using a stanley knife, scissors or other cutting tool and apply to the deck. Alternatively, you can stick the griptape to the deck and cut excess with a blade. CAUTION: This process requires sharp objects and should be done safetly with the correct equipment and supervision.

Yes, use gentle heat (like a hairdryer) to soften adhesive, peel carefully, and clean residue before applying new tape.

We recommend refreshing your griptape every 3-6 months at a minimum. However, the grip has reduced, shiny patches are showing through or you've lost some grit on the top, replace.
