Why Platforms Like CityLegends Are Becoming Part of Stunt Scootering

Scootering Doesn’t End When the Session Does

A good session used to end when everyone packed their scooters into the car and headed home.

These days, that’s usually when another part of riding begins.

Clips get edited, new tricks get shared, riders discover spots they’ve never seen before and conversations continue long after the session is over. Freestyle scootering has always been built around community, but the way that community connects has changed a lot over the last few years.

For most riders, being part of the sport now means more than just turning up at the local skatepark.

More Than Just Another App

One of the platforms helping bring all of that together is CityLegends.

Built for skateboarding, BMX, inline skating, scootering and parkour, CityLegends gives riders a place to discover skateparks and street spots, share clips, take part in community competitions and connect with athletes from around the world.

What’s interesting is that it isn’t trying to replace the things riders already enjoy. Local sessions, weekend jams and traditional competitions are still at the heart of action sports. CityLegends simply gives people another way to stay involved between those moments.

Maybe that’s entering an online competition. Maybe it’s finding a new skatepark while travelling. Maybe it’s discovering a rider on the other side of the world whose style pushes you to try something different next time you ride.

Growing the Community Together

At Dogg Scooters, we’ve always believed that keeping the scooter community healthy means supporting more than just the products riders use.

It also means backing the people, events and ideas that encourage more riders to get involved and keep progressing.

That’s why we’ve enjoyed working alongside CityLegends on community events and rider-focused projects. Giving people more opportunities to ride, film, compete and share what they’re doing helps keep freestyle scootering moving in the right direction.

Not every rider lives close to major competitions. Not everyone can travel every weekend. Creating more ways for people to take part, wherever they are, makes the sport stronger for everyone.

Looking Ahead

Freestyle scootering continues to grow because riders keep finding new ways to inspire each other.

Sometimes that’s through a local session. Sometimes it’s at a competition. Sometimes it’s a clip filmed after school that ends up inspiring someone on the other side of the world.

Platforms like CityLegends are helping make those connections happen every day, and we’re excited to keep working together on projects that support riders and the wider scooter community.
