Most scooter parts can be fitted with Allen keys and a socket/spanner set. The essential items are a size 5 and 6 Allen Key, 13mm Spanner / Socket.

Most scooter parts are aluminium, including decks, most forks, clamps and wheel cores. Material comes into play particuarly with handlebars where you have the most choice. Aluminium is light and popular for park and general riding, steel is tough and durable, and titanium offers strength with low weight at a premium price.
