Frequently asked questions

How do I choose the right size stunt scooter?

Choosing the correct size scooter is the most important job. We recommend for beginners and intermediate riders to have the scooter handlebars come between your hips and belly button. Handlebar size and deck size are specified in each product, but the main height to focus on is 'total height'. This gives you the best route to finding that height between hips and belly button.

For more help, visit our Size Guide.

Do complete scooters arrive assembled?

Most stunt scooters come partially assembled and are quick and easy to set up, usually requiring only the handlebars to be fitted and tightened. At Dogg Scooters, we also offer a professional Ready2Ride build service, where our team fully assembles and checks your scooter before dispatch, so it arrives ready to ride straight out of the box.

Check out our Scooter Maintenance Guide for more help!

What’s included with a complete scooter?

A complete scooter includes all the components you need to get riding. Some also include basic tools for assembly as well as sticks / wristbands.

Are these completes better for skatepark or street?

It depends on the spec: lighter, narrower decks are often preferred for park, while wider decks and larger wheels can suit street. This collection being made up of lightweight scooter, they're primarily made for park riding, with a few Hybrid models (suitable for street and park), cropping up.

Can I upgrade parts later?

Yes. All of the stunt scooters we stock are able to be upgraded down the line, and we highliy encourage this! It means you can curate your scooter exactly how you want it over time, and get the most amount of life out of your complete scooter.

How do I look after my scooter?

Regularly check bolt tightness, keep bearings clean and dry, and replace worn grips/tires. A quick safety check before each session helps prevent problems. For further information and tips, check out our Scooter Maintenance Guide.
